SIGNROLLER 3617 specifications explained

The 3640 × 1720 mm table dimensions are longer and wider than the working area, so a floor sketch based only on the work surface would understate the table body. The 2080 mm overall width is wider again than the 1720 mm table width. Use that stated overall width when checking a proposed machine location, route into the shop, and nearby fixed obstructions.

Will a nominal 5 × 10 ft panel fit?

A nominal 5 × 10 ft panel measures 1524 × 3048 mm. Compared with the published 3368 × 1650 mm working area, that leaves 320 mm, or 12.6 in, of extra length and 126 mm, or 5.0 in, of extra width in total. If a panel is centered, that is about 160 mm, or 6.3 in, at each length end and 63 mm, or 2.5 in, at each side.

Work height: 800 to 1100 mm

The data sheet lists electronic work-height adjustment from 800 to 1100 mm, or 31.5 to 43.3 in. This range lets a team set the work surface for the task and operator before positioning a panel. The best setting is site- and task-dependent, so evaluate it with the materials and handling method the shop actually uses.

Substrate thickness: 0 to 70 mm

The published substrate-thickness range is 0 to 70 mm, or 0 to 2.76 in. Use actual panel thickness as a first screening check, then discuss the material stack and process with the seller. The supplied data sheet does not give material-by-material compatibility or roller settings.

Pneumatic roller and two-button control

The manufacturer describes a pneumatic roller with stepless two-button movement. The controls are intended to let the operator move the roller up or down rather than work only from fixed roller positions. Ask for current operator instructions and a demonstration using representative materials before defining a production method.

Illuminated safety glass, cutting mat, and open two-pillar layout

The p. 2 data sheet lists a safety-glass bed surface with a self-healing cutting mat and an LED illuminated worktable. It also describes an open two-pillar design. These documented features answer different questions: surface visibility and cutting-mat provision on one hand, and panel-access layout on the other. They do not remove the need to reserve space or follow current OEM material-handling guidance.

Utilities, access, and service planning checklist

The p. 2 data sheet lists two power configurations: 120 V / 60 Hz (15 A) or 230 V / 50 Hz (10 A). It also lists a required air supply of 6 to 8 bar, approximately 87 to 116 psi. These figures are equipment specifications, not a site approval.

1. Access path: Record doorway widths and heights, hallways, turns, freight access, and route constraints. Request delivered and crated dimensions, handling requirements, and recommended clearance for the quoted configuration.
2. Proposed floor location: Start with the stated table dimensions and overall width, then add the shop's own allowance for loading, panel handling, operator movement, and maintenance access. Have the installer or OEM confirm the final layout.
